About TarotDew

A free, no-sign-up tarot and astrology site, and exactly how it works.

In short

TarotDew is an independent site for tarot and astrology, made for entertainment and self-reflection. It is free to use without an account and has no ads. Card art is the public-domain 1909 Rider–Waite–Smith deck, all meaning text is written by TarotDew, and AI is used only to summarize a spread you have drawn.

Example reading

Question: How does TarotDew decide a yes or no answer?

The Sun

Result: Each of the 78 cards has a yes or no reading written in advance by TarotDew, based on traditional symbolism. Cards of growth and support lean Yes, cards of endings and limits lean No, and cards of waiting or choice read as Maybe. When you draw The Sun, you see Yes with the reasoning shown, so the answer is never a black box.

What TarotDew is

TarotDew is a tarot and astrology site that aims to be useful in the first ten seconds. You can get a yes or no answer, draw a daily card, try a three-card spread, calculate a birth chart and explore compatibility, without creating an account.

The goal is a calm, modern, honest alternative to sites that hide the answer behind ads or sign-ups. It is an independent brand, and we write our own content.

How it works, step by step

QuestionAnswer
Where does the card art come from? The original 1909 Rider–Waite–Smith deck illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith, from public-domain scans.
Who writes the meanings?TarotDew. Every one of the 78 cards has upright, reversed, love, career and yes or no text we wrote.
How is yes or no decided?A card is drawn, then its pre-written yes or no reading is shown: Yes, No or Maybe, with the reason.
Where is AI used?To write a summary of a spread you have drawn and answer follow-up questions. The original card meanings stay on screen.
How is the birth chart calculated?In-house, using the open-source astronomy-engine library, accurate to well under one degree.
Is it free?Yes. Core tools are free with no account. Optional Plus and one-time PDF reports exist for more.

We believe transparency is the best marketing for a tarot site. That is why this page spells out where the art comes from, who wrote the words and where AI fits in. If something is not on this page, we do not claim it. When we add features, we will describe them just as plainly, and we will not use pressure or fear to get you to use them.

How yes or no and AI are handled

Yes or no results are not made up on the spot. Each card's lean was written ahead of time from traditional tarot symbolism. Growth and support lean toward Yes, endings and limits lean toward No, and open or unfinished situations read as Maybe.

AI has one job here: explaining a spread you have already drawn. The cards are drawn from a shuffled deck independently of the AI. The summary is built on the card meanings, which remain visible next to it, so you can always see what the AI was working from and disagree with it.

AI does not predict, diagnose or advise. Where we cannot be certain, we say so. We avoid fear wording and do not make claims about health, pregnancy, death, legal outcomes or investments.

Entertainment, privacy and responsibility

TarotDew is for entertainment and self-reflection only. It is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. If you are struggling, please speak with a qualified professional or someone you trust.

On privacy: birth data you enter stays in your browser unless you choose to share a link. Daily card use does not require an account. There are no ads and no upsell pop-ups on free results.

If you pay, it is for Plus, which includes unlimited Celtic Cross, AI follow-ups, a full personal daily horoscope and saved readings, or for one-time PDF reports. You can cancel Plus in one click on the account page.

Frequently asked questions

Who makes TarotDew?

TarotDew is an independent brand. We write the card meanings and site text ourselves, build the tools and calculate charts in-house. It is not part of a larger astrology network or a reseller of other sites' readings.

Where do the tarot card images come from?

The images are the original 1909 Rider–Waite–Smith deck illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith, using public-domain scans. We credit her art because it is the foundation of most modern tarot imagery.

How does TarotDew decide yes or no?

Each of the 78 cards has a yes or no reading written by TarotDew from traditional symbolism. A drawn card shows Yes, No or Maybe with its reason. The draw itself is random; the meaning behind each card is not.

Is the AI in TarotDew making predictions?

No. The AI summarizes a spread you drew and answers follow-up questions, using the card meanings as a base. It cannot see the future. All readings are for entertainment and self-reflection.

Is TarotDew a substitute for professional advice?

No. TarotDew is for entertainment and self-reflection only, and it is not medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. For those matters, please consult a qualified professional or a trusted person, and treat any card you draw as just a prompt for thought.

What happens to the information I enter?

Birth data stays in your browser unless you choose to share a link. You do not need an account for the free tools, and there are no ads on the site.
