Your daily tarot card is a single card drawn once each day as a theme to reflect on. On TarotDew you get one card per day per device; it stays the same until local midnight. Optionally add your birthday to personalize the message with your Sun and Moon sign. It is free, with no sign-up.
Example reading
Question: Today's card
Result: The Empress invites you to slow down and take care of what is growing, whether that is a project, a friendship or your own energy. Nurture before you push. If you added your birthday, the message also connects the card to your Sun and Moon sign. Treat it as a gentle theme for the day, then see what you notice by evening.
How the daily card works
Each day, TarotDew gives you one card. Draw it in the morning and it stays the same all day on your device, so you can come back to it at lunch or at night and see how the theme played out. At local midnight the deck resets and a new card is waiting.
This is deliberate. A daily card is a ritual, not a slot machine. When you cannot redraw, you learn to work with what you are given, which is half of what tarot teaches.
- One card per day per device.
- New card at your local midnight.
- A streak counter counts consecutive days you draw.
- A monthly calendar shows every card you have drawn.
Reading your tarot card of the day
Do not try to predict events. Use the card as a lens. Ask what quality it describes and where you might use it today.
- Read the message for the card, then glance at the image.
- Pick one word that sums up the theme, such as patience, courage or release.
- Carry that word through the day, perhaps writing it at the top of your to-do list.
- In the evening, notice where the theme appeared, in a conversation, a choice or a mood.
Cards that feel uncomfortable are often the most useful. A challenging card does not mean a bad day. It highlights something worth attention, and the message is written in calm language.
On days when the card feels flat or confusing, do not force it. Come back in the evening and ask whether any part of the day echoed it, even in a small way. Sometimes the connection only shows itself in hindsight, and that delayed recognition is a lovely part of the ritual. It is also fine to simply notice the card and move on with your day.
Personalizing with your birthday
You can add your birthday once. TarotDew then reads your Sun and Moon sign and weaves them into the message, so a card like The Moon speaks differently to a Cancer Moon than to a Sagittarius Moon.
Adding it is optional, and the daily card works fine without it. Your birthday data stays in your browser unless you choose to share a link.

Building a lasting daily practice
Streaks work because they are small. Thirty seconds a day beats an hour once a month. Try pairing your card with an existing habit, such as morning coffee.
Over weeks, the calendar becomes a record of your moods and themes. You might notice that Swords cards cluster around busy weeks or that Cups cards come at the end of a good stretch. That kind of pattern spotting is the real value.
The daily card is for entertainment and self-reflection. It is not a forecast, and it is not advice about health, money or legal matters.

Frequently asked questions
What is the tarot card of the day?
It is one card drawn each day to offer a theme for reflection. TarotDew gives you one card per day per device. It stays the same all day and changes at local midnight. It is a ritual for self-reflection, not a prediction.
Can I draw another daily card if I don't like mine?
The daily card stays the same until local midnight by design. If you want to ask something specific, use the one-card or yes or no draw. The daily card is for learning to work with whatever theme the day presents.
How does the daily tarot streak work?
Each day you draw your card, the streak counter goes up by one. If you miss a day, the streak starts over. A monthly calendar also shows the cards you have drawn so you can look back at patterns.
What does my birthday add to the daily card?
If you enter your birthday, TarotDew uses your Sun and Moon sign to personalize the message for your card. It is optional, free, and the card itself is the same either way. Birth data stays in your browser.
When does the daily card reset?
At midnight in your local time. You get one new card each calendar day, and the card you drew earlier stays visible until then. That means your morning draw is the same card at night.
Is daily tarot free?
Yes. The daily tarot card is free, with a streak counter and calendar, and needs no account. Plus adds a full personal daily horoscope, but the daily card does not require it.
